Explore the sites that made our research possible! Collaborating with Dr. Tal Ben-Horin of NC State, Dr. Ami Wilbur of UNC Wilmington, as well as local oyster farmers, we used five different oyster farms to collect our data. These aquafarms represent a range of environmental conditions, including differences in rainfall exposure, salinity regimes, and water flow dynamics. This variation allowed us to assess how different environmental factors influence oyster development and mortality.
